The Latin Church

Site Description: The current building is a relatively newly built church, no more than 80 years old. The church's outer gate overlooks Nablus-Qalqilya Street. It was built on the ruins of an ancient church dating back to the Crusader period, and this is evidenced by the presence of remnants of the old walls outside the church standing from the eastern side, as they were rising to more than two meters above the ground, in addition to what appears from the style of construction, and from the stones in which this church was built, which is distinguished by its size and pruning that matches the Crusader style of building. There is also a basement and an ancient oil press on the church's northern side.
