Although this building is similar to the Roman theater, it differed in planning, as the circular amphitheater was closed entirely. Still, the theater was in the form of three-quarters of a circle. In terms of its function, the gladiatorial battle, sometimes led to death, took place between man and man, or between man and predatory animals.
