the building consists of two floors, the lower floor dates back to the Roman period, as for the second floor, it dates back to the Mamluk period. It is distinguished by the presence of domes, and contains a chamber with a niche attached to it; in addition to a basement leading to the ground floor.In front of the building, there are two pools built of limestone and two cabins, dating back to the Roman period. A nearby modern building that is associated with the manufacture of pottery, is called (Al-Fukhara), and it contains a furnace for producing pottery.The Ministry of Tourism and Antiquities, in cooperation with the Tulkarm Municipality, restored and rehabilitated the site between 2002-2004, through the rehabilitating cultural heritage sites in the northern West Bank project funded by the UNDP, besides equipping the park attached to the shrine to open it to local and international tourism. And the project provided permanent security for the site, and assigned a group of employees.
